In the heart of the splendid Bonifacian plateau, Pian del Fosse is not only a place for relaxation and conviviality, it is also devoted to the preservation of local biodiversity. Since its creation, the establishment, which has been certified European Ecolabel since 2018, has always been committed to maintaining a harmonious balance between the development of its activity and the protection of the natural environment that surrounds it.
Our grounds are home to an impressive variety of endogenous plants typical of the region. The estate’s pine trees, century-old olive grove and vast lawns provide an ideal habitat for many local species. Respect for Mediterranean flora is at the heart of our ecological approach, which means meticulous upkeep and respect for natural cycles, thanks in particular to the presence of a flock of sheeps that contributes to the balance of the green spaces every winter.
We try to encourage wild life developpement with the implementation of places such as insect hotels and bird nesting boxes.
At Pian del Fosse, we firmly believe that every gesture counts in preserving our natural heritage. That’s why we take concrete actions to protect biodiversity, minimising our impact on local ecosystems and encouraging our visitors to adopt responsible practices.
